Where does the name ABEBA come from?
The word simply means “flower” and was derived directly from the name of the Ethiopian capital “ADDIS ABEBA”, which translates as “new flower”. However, the name itself has far more hidden meanings.
The first letterAsymbolises the former production site, located in the Italian town of Arzergrande.
BEstands for Bender, a town on the west bank of the Dniester, where one of the company's production sites was also located.
BAstands for Barletta, a port city in the Italian province of Barletta-Andria-Trani in Apulia, which is also associated with ABEBA production.
The name sounds the same - read from the front as well as the back, which in turn gives it additional character.
